Top 3 | July

Tuesday, 29 July 2014

So its coming towards the end of july. Which is really scary, because that means school starts in less than a month, and just gross ew no. These are the three things I've been loving the most this month.

I love... Raspberry & blackberry |
I mentioned how much I liked this in my Favourite summer scents post. Its an amazing summer scent. It smells really fruity ( as you can imagine ) and it lasts all day.

 Nivea Lip butter |
I've had this for a while now but i'm only just really starting to use it and notice how much it does for your lips lately. It's raspberry flavoured ( Notice a trend here? ) and it smells so good! It tastes really so good too which is a really great plus in a lip balm.

5 seconds of summer album |
I've been pretty a big fan of 5 seconds of summer for a little while now. Their album came out in june, but i've only just got my hands on the physical copy this month. I love the album so much, I couldn't find the deluxe album so I had to buy the normal version. First world problems I guess.

Favourite Summer Scents

Friday, 25 July 2014

The sun here the past couple days has been just glorious. I love floral and fruity scents for the summer time and these two are my favourites.

My first favourite scent is the I love... raspberry and blackberry body splash/scent. I bought this is in Pennys/Primark for €2.50 which is amazing for what you get. This smells really fruity and sweet but not too sweet to the point to where it gives me a head ache ( Please tell me other people have this problem?) Anyways it's really great and it also comes in the strawberries and cream scent.

My second favourite is the chloe roses perfume. I got this for christmas because it's on the complete opposite end of the spectrum than the Primark spray. I'm pretty sure the RRP for this is somewhere in the €80 range. This, as you probably guessed from the named smells exactly like roses. Its great for summer and it lasts all day, which is something I love in a perfume.
What are your favourite summer scents?

Style Steal: Gillian Zinser

Tuesday, 22 July 2014

I've always been a fan of Gillian's style even as far back as her 90210 days. I love her kind of boho/edgy chic kind of style. I love this outfit because its so laid back. I actually have this H&M t-shirt and its honestly one of the comfiest things I own. I definitely recommend picking once up if you can. I love the bowler hat with it, but unfortunately bowler hats just look really really awful on me. I do like a good fedora though. What do you think of Gillian's style?

Put A Ring On It

Saturday, 19 July 2014

If you guys didn't know, I'm hopeless at anything to do with drawing. Especially nail art. Just not my thing. I saw a photo of some ting yang nail art online and fell in love. I decided to try it, and to my surprise and basically everyone else who knows me, it worked out. I love love love it. Majorly proud.  Then the worst happened. Me being my impatient self, SMUDGED my hard work. Talk about devastated The nail polish's I used were Barry M matte black nail paint and the Angelica white nail polish.

I've recently gotten really into rings and jewellery and I love these ones I picked up from Penny's (primark). The rings that fit onto my lower finger are all one set and the finger top ring is from another. I'm pretty sure, both sets only cost €2 each. amazing value!

Summer Wish List Tag

Wednesday, 16 July 2014

Image from Weheartit

I was tagged by Paige to do this, you can read her post here. This summer has actually been a pretty productive one so far.

My summer wish list:
1) Keep improving my blog- Since the start of summer my blog has improved a lot ( in my opinion ) both in content and in the way in looks. I'd love to keep improving it and make it as good as it can be.

2)  Wardrobe Overhaul - My style has changed so so much over the last year, and now my wardrobe is full of clothes I never wear and I would like some new clothes to go along with it.

3) Become more confident- I would love to be more confident, because i'm the type of person that keeps to herself and doesn't really step outside her comfort zone. I'd love to just become really really confident but one step at a time Ay?

I tag:

Feel free to do this tag and leave the link below if you want to:)

Pretty Eyes*

Sunday, 13 July 2014

This week I was was sent A sigma Eyeshadow in the shade escape* along with an E55* brush to apply it with. The eyeshadow shade itself is a really pretty beige shimmery colour. Its really pretty by itself as an everyday colour just on the lid. It's also really great as an inner lid colour when doing a brown smokey eye.

This is my second E55 brush, it's a great eye shadow applicator brush. It doesn't shed at all, and gives a great even coverage of any shadow. If you guys want to get either of these, you can do so here

*These products were sent to me by sigma and the link displayed is an affiliate link, however all opinions are my own*

Style Steal : Alexa Chung

Thursday, 10 July 2014

At one time or another we've all been obsessed with Alexa Chung's style. I mean Mulberry even named a bag after her, so she has to have great style. If you guys have read my blog for a while you'll know that I wear a lot of black. I think head to toe black looks so chic. I love this look because it's something I would actually wear on an everyday basis. I love a good leather jacket too, I just think this is a completely fab look.

Highend Makeup Wish-list

Tuesday, 8 July 2014

As a teenager, who can't seem to find a year around job, it's rare if I can afford to buy ' High end makeup '.  I have a summer job ( Thank fuck) so by the end of the summer, after saving something for a car next year,  I'll have something left to spend on myself. As any makeup lover would, I complied a list of the items that are slightly pricier. This little list makes me so excited. I have wanted all of these products for ages. What I'm personally most excited about getting is the MAC rebel lipstick. I love a really bold lip colour and this is infamous for it. The NARS creamy concealer, again infamous. I've never tried a NARS product and I think this would be  a great product to start with. The Hourglass ambient lighting blush is something I've lusted over forever! They look so beautiful both in the pan and on the cheek. The final item, the Lorac Pro pallet, is just wow. I don't think there are any other words. Its such a beautiful neutrals pallet.
Are there any other products I should add to my list?

What I've been loving lately#2

Saturday, 5 July 2014

I haven't done one of these posts in a while because and I don't really buy and try enough stuff often enough to change up my favourites that much. I've tried some new stuff lately and I thought they were worthy of a post.

My first favourite is the revlon colour stay foundation, something that I've raved about on here before. I'm not going to talk about if for too long because I've talked about it too much on here already. Its a great  foundation, brilliant lasting time, great coverage and colour. I actually did a full review here

My next thing that I've been loving is the Maybelline Brow Drama. This is a tinted brow gel, that gives great coverage and sets the brow in place well. I got mine in the shade light brown, because even though I am a blonde I do have dark brows, and the dark blonde shade was way too light. The unique thing about this brow gel is that the brush has a sphere on the top, similar to the 'They're real!' mascara by benefit. The ball on the top distributes the product evenly throughout the sparser section of the brow, which makes them look more natural.
My final favourite is a natural collection lipstick, which I have spoken about before, I love the formulation so I got it in the shade raspberry. I love this shade its a great berry colour for the summer.

Style Steal: Vanessa Hudgens

Wednesday, 2 July 2014

Since festival season is here I thought, why not do a festival look right? Then I got to thinking who's style to copy. No one better than the festival queen herself Vanessa Hudgens right? This probably isn't a great outfit for those festivals where you're up to your arse in mud. It's one for the dry sunny days. I really like it personally, I think wearing the Bralett with the high waisted shorts shows just enough skin with out it being too much. There were no shoes in the photo I was working with so I just went with what I would wear if I was going to wear it.  Who's style should I copy next? Let me know!
